Join Digi-Bridge for a #TBT (Throw Back Thursday) event on Thursday, November 5th from 6-8 pm, as we "Connect to Disconnect" in support of local technology access for Charlotte’s youth. We'll enjoy beverages and light bites from the 1980s - the era that brought the Internet to life! Take part in some good ol' fashioned conversation and networking, and experience what it's like to be without access by tendering your phones at the door. Don't worry, you'll get your phone back upon exit!
Did you know that 19% of Charlotte is completely disconnected from the Internet? Through advocacy, consultancy, and education, Digi-Bridge creates a community where all children have access to the technologies necessary to succeed in this digital economy.
Digi-Bridge is a nonprofit organization that equips shareholders with the means to foster optimal use of technology in the learning environment, ensuring that all 21st century learners have opportunities to succeed in the digital age. The funds raised at the event will support Digi-Bridge’s educational programs.
We'll also be collecting donations that will go toward our school programs:

$25 Scholarship to an afternoon course
$50 Scholarship to a STEAM Saturday course
$150 Purchase a Chromebook to add to our Digi-Dozen
